As the Goldpanners' most successful graduate of the 1980s, Barry deserves the front spot in the newly reconfigured "1980s All-Stars" set.
A "limited edition" run of 2,500 cards was printed after a hidden cache of Barry Bonds pictures were discovered in the archives in 2003. Three different pictures of Barry are on the card. He is also joined by Hall of Fame Coaches and other Major Leaguers. This is not the same card as
2003 Team Set #24.

AS A GOLDPANNER Heinkel was the top pitcher on the 1981 team with a 7-3 record and two saves to go with a brilliant 1-73 ERA. He also had a 4-0 mark in '80. AS A MAJOR LEAGUER Heinkel ascended to the majors with the Tigers in 1988 before moving to the Cardinals in '89. |

AS A GOLDPANNER Sebra started 12 games for the Panners in 1982 and posted a 4-3 record. AS A MAJOR LEAGUER Sebra went up to the Rangers in 1985. Bob was traded to the Expos and was in the starting rotation before being dealt to the Phillies. |

AS A GOLDPANNER Harkey was the MVP of the Alaska League as he led the 1986 Panners' staff with a 10-3 record and 3.41 ERA. AS A MAJOR LEAGUER Harkey made an immediate name for himself with his blazing fastball after being called by the Cubs in late 1988. |

AS A MAJOR LEAGUER Plesac joined the Brewers in 1986 and quickly established himself as a bullpen ace. Pitched in the 1987 All-Star Game. |
